ATS Workshop to Take Place Before ERE Conference

HRchitect, an HR systems strategic consulting and talent management systems consulting firm, is planning to conduct a pre-conference workshop at the Spring 2009 ERE Expo in San Diego, Calif. “How to Save Your Current Applicant Tracking System and get a Return on Your Investment” will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. March 30.

“As the leading talent management systems consulting firm, our experience has shown us that the majority of talent acquisition and talent management systems are replaced due to customer ‘failure’ and not due to items such as vendor viability, product roadmap or poor support,” Matt Lafata, vice president of sales and marketing with HRchitect, said in a press release.

“This session focuses on helping businesses get the most out of their existing systems by showing organizations how to optimize processes and practices,” Lafata continued.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

  • How do you make sure you are getting a return on your existing ATS investment
  • Have you met the business objectives and decision drivers that were defined prior to selecting a system
  • How do you measure user effectiveness, usability and satisfaction
  • How do you get effective training of all types of your users (recruiters, hiring managers, employees, agencies, etc)
  • How to achieve operational efficiency and usability with your ATS system
  • How to get adoption and increased usage of the system by all users
  • How do you continue to allow the ATS to evolve to meet changing needs and requirements of the organization
  • What peripheral applications should you use for talent sourcing

“HRchitect has a tremendous amount of collective knowledge and insight into HR systems and strategies and how to make sense of an ever-changing and confusing marketplace,” Rick Fletcher, president and founder of HRchitect, added in the press release. “I’ve been around this industry for 25 years and have found education essential to helping to avoid costly mistakes when making HR technology related decisions.”

The workshop should be beneficial to businesses who currently have or are looking into using applicant tracking systems, as well as job seekers who want to know how applicant tracking effects them.
